    The PCC Police Clearance Certificate is also an essential documents as it is issued to the Indians who hold Passport. And PCC is required for travelling abroad, and if the Indians have applied for Residential Status, Employment or Long Term Visa.

    Andhra Pradesh state was established 1st November, 1956 with having capital at Kurnool. After some time the capital was shifted to Hyderabad city. After the formation of Andhra Pradesh State, the circumstances of both the cities Hyderabad and Secunderabad have bear the change, difficulty and the problems of Law and order, Crime, Traffic and the Special Branch in the city which requires the re-organization. Then the HPC Hyderabad City Police was restructured in the year 1957 vide the Government Order NO.1620 date 11-10-1957. In the year June, 2014, the Andhra Pradesh state is divided into two states, like, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh and the Hyderabad city the capital of both states.
    Police Clearance Certificate : Hyderabad City Police:

    Hyderabad Police do all the process regarding the Police Clearance Certificate to their citizens. And for this Hyderabad City Police has made a web portal, ie.,http://www.hyderabadpolice.gov.in/ where the applicant can apply online for the Police Clearance Certificate PCC. The whole procedure will take 4 or 5 visits of the applicant to the Commissionerate.

    An applicant are able to take a printout and submit it at the office of Commissionerate or the applicant can fill the form online and send it to the mentioned address in the web portal. After receiving the application, the police send FVO Field Verification Officer to the applicants residence.
    After confirming all the details of the applicant, the concerned officer deliver the report to the higher officials. After all this, the applicant must have to go to the commissionerate office and show and handed over all the original documents for checking to the concerned inspector. Then the report may be forwarded to the Intelligence Department for issuing the NOC No Objection Certificate.
    Eligibility Criteria for PCC Police Clearance Certificate Hyderabad:

    =a> The applicant who wants to apply for PCC must be Indian citizen and permanent resident of Hyderabad Police Commissionerate limts.

    =b>
    The applicant must be holding a valid Original Passport.

    =c>
    Applicant is able to apply if he/she living Abroad.

    How to Apply for PCC Police Clearance Certificate Hyderabad:

    The applicant are required to fill all the details in the application form and the personal particular form.

    Take a print out of the application and personal particular form. (1 copy of application form and 3 copies of personal particular form).

    The applicant must have 3 passport size photographs and affix one photo on an application form and one each on personal particular form.

    After applying online, the applicant must go personally to the concerned office and submit all the relevant documents after twenty four hours of applying online.

    The process if issuing Police Clearance Certificate will start only after the submission of required documents.

    Documents Required For PCC Police Clearance Certificate Hyderabad:

    There are many and various documents which are required for PCC. If the applicant is applying from India then the required documents are given below and also if the applicant is applying from Abroad, then the list of documents required are mentioned below.


    Applying From India :
    If the applicant is applying from India, then the list of required documents are given below.


    <^>} The applicant should pay a Challan at any e-seva for an amount of Rs. Five Hundred (500/-). Challan receipt in duplicate should be present or submitted during the collection of PCC.


    <^>} The applicant are required to submit the copy of online Application Form (1 no.).


    <^>} Also required to submit the copy of online Personal Particulars Form (5 nos.).


    <^>} The applicant should also submit the Clear Xerox of all pages of all passports including blank pages, ensuring the print of Dotted number of the passport, with the original passport for verification.


    <^>} The applicant are required to submit the Proof of Residence- present address and previous places of stay if any in Hyderabad City. The applicant can submit any one from the following

    ~!~>Electricity Bill
    ~!~>Gas connection paper
    ~!~>Lease deed in case of rented house
    ~!~>Household supply card ( ration card )
    ~!~>Voter identity card
    ~!~>Employer letter confirming residential address
    ~!~>Statement of bank account from nationalized banks only
    ~!~>Residential Certificate from MRO
    <^>} Purpose of PCC (Proof of letter)-PCC requirement letter from consulate or acknowledgment copy of application submitted at consulate for visa or instructions of the concerned country for PCC.

    <^>} The candidates are also required to submit 2 different Affidavits of the two serving Government Servants on Rs.10/- non judicial stamp paper.

    <^>} There are 6 Photographs are required which must be pasted on the application form which you are bringing at the time of collection and 2 should be submitted to the field verification officer at the time of field enquiry.

    <^>} If the applicant is an employee, then he/she should submit the No objection certificate from the Head of the Department/Employer.

    <^>} Study certificate needed to be submitted (if the applicant is a student).

    <^>} The applicant should also mention clearly the period of stay in Hyderabad City with mentioning the date.

    <^>} In case of married applicant, then he/she have to submit marriage certificate.

    Applying From Abroad :
    *~0) The applicant who is Indian passport holder and staying out side India are required to send an authorization letter addressed to the Commissioner of Police Hyderabad by giving the authorization to any of the relative staying in India to collect PCC on the applicants behalf. This Authorization letter should be attested by the Indian Embassy where the applicant is presently staying.

    The applicant should pay a Challan at any e-seva for an amount of Rs. Five Hundred (500/-). Challan receipt in duplicate should be present or submitted during the collection of PCC. The applicant can get the details of challan from the person who has paid.

    *~0)
    The applicant are required to submit the copy of online Application Form (1 no.).

    *~0) Submit the copy of online Personal Particulars Form (5 nos.).

    *~0) The applicant should also submit the Clear Xerox of all pages of all passports including blank pages, ensuring the print of Dotted number of the passport.

    *~0) Submit the proof of Residence of staying in Hyderabad city. The applicant can submit any one from the following-

    *~0) The applicant can get the attestation from concerned Embassy on the authorization letter to collect PCC in India.
    Required Fee for PCC Police Clearance Certificate Hyderabad:

    The applicant have to pay Challan and this should be paid at any e-seva for an amount of Rs. Five Hundred 500/-.

    Instructions For Filling The Application for PCC Police Clearance Certificate Hyderabad:

    **!..> The applicant must read all the instructions clearly before applying for Police Clearance Certificate online.

    **!..> Then the applicant should pay the challan first and fill the application form later that with Challan details (Challan Transaction number should be entered).

    **!..> All the data entered must be checked by the applicant before submitting online. Once application is submitted by the applicant then the details cannot be changed

    **!..> If any data entered wrong in the application form by the applicant then the mistakes can be edited only in the Office of FRO, Hyderabad.

    **!..> A confirmation screen with relevant data and information will be displayed after entering all the details.

    **!..> After the confirmation, you will get an acknowledgment (16 digit Unique Application no.), Application Form and Personal Particulars Form which will be displayed on the screen. The

    **!..> We must advice you to save and take a print out of this Acknowledgment, Application Form and Personal Particulars Form.

    **!..> 4 recent coloured photograph with a size 35mm x 45mm must be required and one photo must be pasted in the space provided in the Police Clearance Certificate Application Form and one each on the Personal Particulars Forms.

    **!..> Payment through Challan will be accepted and a Challan is valid for one application only.

    **!..> If the applicant requires more than 1 PCC, the in this case he/she should pay separate challan and fill online PCC application independently.

    **!..> If the applicant approaches Field Research Officer FRO, Hyderabad after 30 days of online application, it will be considered to be cancelled and fees will be forfeited.

    **!..> Police Clearance Certificate will be issued only after receipt of all the required documents by the applicant.

    Time Taken for PCC Police Clearance Certificate Hyderabad:

    The whole process will take an approximate of 10 working days which involves scrutiny and cross checks by other related departments. The certificate will be handed over to the applicant if the procedure rules are met.
