    You are now able to make payment of railway ticket which you booked online when it delivered at your home. Its just like your hair straightner or cosmetic, you can now make order of your train ticket which to be sent home on cash on deliver method.

    This is very first time, when IRCTC (Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation) is presenting the cash on delivery opportunity for railway tickets bought online. This is beneficial for those customers who don’t want to use their credit card or for those who don’t have net banking enabled bank accounts and cards.

    In this facility, the customer has to book the ticket online and payment will be made on cash at the time of delivery of ticket at your home.

    IRCTC has started this scheme more than two hundred cities firstly.

    In this customer can book their railway ticket five (5) day before to the start of journey.

    Fee for delivery of railway ticket:

    Customers have to pay Rs. Fourty (40) for the delivery of each Sleeper Class Ticket.

    Rupees Sixty (60) will be charged for AC Class services from the customer.

    Who is providing this Service:

    Anduril Technologies is providing this service through their web portal, that is Anduril Technologies is authorised for providing Cash-on-Delivery services to the customers.

    How the delivering of tickets works:

    This scheme of providing tickets is naming as e-tickets. In this scheme, online booked railway ticket will be delivered to the customers door steps, where the customer have to make payment via cash on delivery of ticket.

    Customer are also able to check the details of your booking, that is available in the Booking History Section on

    Consumer can login at any time on the website and take printout of your copy, if anyone misplace one and want another.

    How many days before a customer can book a ticket for travel:

    Booking of railway ticket by the Customer is possible 60 days before the considered date of travel. On the day of booking (60 days before the planned travel), the customer will not be able to book rail ticket between 8.00 am – 12.00 am.

    The customer are required to carry your Identity Proof with themselves at the time of travelling. At the time of travelling on e-ticket, you can show any of the following documents for identity proof.

    • Passport,
    • Driving License,
    • PAN card,
    • EPIC,
    • Student ID card,
    • Credit card issued by Banks,
    • Photo ID card issued by state govt.
